2010 CALENDARS

We have gone to print!!!

In the next few days our 2010 calendars, sold in aid of Large Munsterlander Rescue, will be ready so you can place your orders now. As usual, we have two versions, one with Supporter's dogs and the other with our Rescues.

In the current climate, we have decided not to have a price rise, so the price remains the same as previous years £5 per calendar plus postage. £1 towards postage and packing, but if you are ordering multiples, please enquire.

Unfortunately I will be away from my computer, so if you could make your orders and enquiries to Rae Massey for the next 10 days or so, she will be able to deal with them. If you require your calendars so you can collect from Shows, then Barbara Butler and Pat McCutcheon will be able to assist. When ordering, please make sure you put your choice of calendar, i.e. Supporters or Rescue, and cheques should be made payable to LARGE MUNSTERLANDER RESCUE - Rae's phone number is 01302 711691

Thanks to everyone for their support and efforts in the production of these lovely calendars.

Christmas Cards and Diaries will be available soon and I will post some photographs on here for you to make your choices.

ANOTHER WAY TO HELP...........

As soon as I posted the last message, one of my colleagues rang to ask me to put something else on our website. Pat Esson is our Fund Raising Secretary and as you can appreciate she works ahead of most of us on preparations for forthcoming Fun and Companion Dog Shows held in aid of Large Munsterlander Rescue.

We have had a particularly busy time of late with dogs coming and going, and many needing expensive veterinary treatment - and although we have an extra show programmed for 1st November, we are already planning two for next year, in March and September.

If anyone would like to Sponsor a class in one of those shows for 2010 we would be most grateful and would be pleased to hear from you. Each class could be sponsored for about £10. We would be pleased to hear from you if you are able to help.

We also need more Munsters attending these shows, you will be given a very warm welcome!

And........somebody must be ready my messages because my first batch of used stamps arrived this morning..............thanks Bob.

HOW YOU CAN HELP US.............

There are many ways you can help us at Large Munsterlander Rescue - some are quite easy, some more difficult and time consuming, sometimes lots of brain power required, sometimes dedicated, and all encompassing...

An easy way is to let us have your used stamps to turn into cash. Another way might be quite enjoyable and that is to support our Rescue Shows held in Lincolnshire - whatever other breeds you have, all will be welcome.

Our 10th Anniversary of the F.O.R.U.M. (Friends of Rescued and Unwanted Munsterlanders) is fast approaching, so how about sitting and writing a piece for that magazine - I have started collecting these already and also have the camera ready not only for the magazine, but for inclusion in the next batch of calendars, cards and diaries for 2011 !
You might have a nice dog poem, funny item or just a letter from your dog.......all will be welcome.

You can support Rescue by subscribing to our F.O.R.U.M. magazine (four issues per year) and for the UK it is only £7 per year and £8.50 for overseas. You can also support us by purchasing our calendars (two versions, one filled with Supporter's dogs and the other with Rescues), our diary which has Show Dates and is filled with both Rescue and Supporter photos - and our Christmas cards will soon be available. As soon as I am able I will put up photos on here of the front covers of both calendars, diary and the cards for you to see.

Lastly, we are always looking for new homes, foster carers etc., if you are on our list it is just that a dog suited to your family has not become available, but do please always check with us the situation. Those who are considering a Rescued Munsterlander, please, please get in touch and again those willing to Foster in ALL areas, please contact us. LATEST RESCUE UPDATE

It is very concerning the number of people with dominant/aggressive dogs contacting us at Rescue and the considerable difficulty finding them suitable homes with experienced dog owners.

Jo assesses these dogs and does the initial training but we desperately need Foster Homes to continue their education.

These dogs do improve but unfortunately we have neither the room nor time to spend with them.

WOOSTER HAS RETURNED!

Unfortunately Wooster has retuned so he is now desperately seeking a new permanent mum and dad. Please, please give our dogs some serious thought..........further details can be obtained from Jo Bramhall on 01302 710625 or Rae on 01302 711691.
