NO NEWS YET!

I had hoped to report by now that we have found a new home for Maddie - but I can't.........sadly although a few people have come forward, these homes have not been quite right for her. Please, please, please do think long and hard, she would make a lovely companion for SOMEBODY.............

CHANGES FOR RESCUE

Just to let you know of a few changes of how we work at Rescue. Elle Banks has been invaluable with her help, collecting sponsorship, collecting donations towards printing and generally heaving our calendars etc., around to the shows. This helped deuring a time when both Rae and I were moving house and dealing with builders etc.

The Supporters Calendar is now back with us, as Elle is going to more involved with the computer side of her Munster website and wishes now to take more of a back seat where the actual collecting and delivering is concerned. Elle of course still wholeheartedly supports us in Rescue. We understand that Jo Banks has kindly said she will carry on with setting up our calendars, diaries and of course our F.O.R.U.M. Magazine.

We have put together some deadline dates for when items and articles for F.O.R.U.M. have to be with Jo, to make life a little easier, but our first deadline for SUPPORTERS is 1st JUNE and this is the date we would like the calendar photos with Jo for her putting together and then to send off to the printer. So, if you are a non-Rescue Owner, but would like to support Rescue by purchasing a page in the 2008 calendar, please let us have 4 (or more) photographs to choose from, together with a cheque for £25 per page (front page will of course be more). We would be happy to do page shares if you and your friends wish to have your dogs photographed together.

Rescue owners, please let us have ALL your photographs before 1st JUNE so that a selection can be made for the Rescue Edition of the Calendar.

Now is the ideal opportunity to thank Jo and Elle for all that they do for us (and hyave done in the past) - it is very much appreciated.

Maddie

This is Maddie, the bitch rescued from Spain, she is urgently in need of a new home, she does not like to live with other dogs, although is happy to meet other dogs when out and about. She is distressed when kennelled and needs someone to take her home and love her. Do you know of anyone? She has had a very hard time in the last few months - surely someone will be able to find a home for her? If you can help - ring Rae on 01302 711691.

UPDATE ON HOMES REQUIRED

We have two girls who need new homes. Our two year old will need a special home and will probably need medication for the rest of her life - of course her veterinary fees for this will be covered by Rescue. If you wish to discuss this dog, please speak to either Jo Bramhall on 01302 710625 or Rae Massey on 01302 711691 for any further details. Our older girl is still actively searching for somebody to love and again, any further details about her can be obtained from Jo or Rae.

NEXT EDITION OF F.O.R.U.M. MAGAZINE

Our new edition is being prepared as I write, inside you will be able to read all about our Spanish girls - about their arrival in the country in January and all that has happened to them since. Maddie and Scruffy (now renamed Buffy) have had all sorts to contend with since their arrival and you will be able to read about Buffy's new home and all about her trips to the vets for urgently needed dental work. This did not go without its problems, i.e. how to pay for a non-Munster veterinary bills!!!! Find out what happened in your next magazine. You don't receive it? Then subscribe - it is only £7 per year and this gives four copies throughout the seasons.
