LARGE MUNSTERLANDER RESCUE CALENDARS FOR 2009

Rescue are again planning on two versions of Rescue Calendars for 2009. One featuring Rescued Munsters and the other featuring Supporter's dogs.

We would like to hear as soon as possible from you if you would like to book a page. For Supporters, the cost will be £25 for the page and for our Rescues, we would just like loads of photos of your dogs for us to choose from to make up our calendars.

As I said, PLEASE contact us as soon as you can, so we can get on with selecting the photos ready for next year.

LARGE MUNSTERLANDER CLUB SHOW

Rescue have been given permission to have a stall at the forthcoming Club Show on Saturday 7th June at Asfordby, Leicester. We shall have a Name the **** Competition and a Tombola Stall.

We would be very grateful for any tombola prizes if you are coming to the Show that day and we look forward to seeing you there.

15 MONTH OLD YOUNGSTER SEEKS NEW HOME

F.O.R.U.M.

I have been asked to clarify the difference between Rescue F.O.R.U.M. and Munsterlander FORUM - as there has been some confusion.

Our Large Munsterlander Rescue F.O.R.U.M. is a Magazine that we in Rescue put together in the year 2000, and F.O.R.U.M. stands for FRIENDS OF RESCUED AND UNWANTED MUNSTERLANDERS. During those 8 years, four copies of our magazine each year have been produced and sent out to our "Friends" and Supporters. Inside the magazine, we reproduce photographs, let people know about events taking place in support of Rescue, have poems and stories submitted by our "Friends.

The Munsterlander "Forum" is a blog about Munsterlanders which took over from a previous one towards the end of last year, 2007 and has members throughout the world to chat about the daily lives, showing, and many other subjects to do with Munsterlanders and their owners and breeders. The two are entirely separate, although I expect some of our Friends do visit the Blog and vice versa.

We hope that this explains things - if in doubt when you hear somebody speak about F.O.R.U.M, I am sure they won't mind if you ask whether that is Rescue or Blog!

Whilst writing, you might like to learn more about our F.O.R.U.M. and subscribe for a year - the new edition is due out this week. Subscriptions are £7 for UK and £8.50 for overseas - everyone is very welcome - cheques payable to Large Munsterlander Rescue, and sent to either myself or Rae Massey.
